The current Mayor of Taylorsville is Rosalyn Glenn, our first elected woman mayor.
The Town of Taylorsville is governed by a mayor and board of aldermen. Elections are held every four years, and open board meetings are held on the first Thursday after the first Tuesday of each month. Elections were held June 2009, and the new town officials were sworn in by former Mayor Larry Kelly at a patriotic ceremony at the train depot. The current Mayor and Board of Aldermen will serve the Town of Taylorsville until 2013.
